Forest Getaway

Overall we had a great stay. But I want to clear up a few issues. There is room for two cars in the driveway because it’s a long driveway, one car goes in first and one car parks behind it. The next issue is that there are only one and 1/2 bathrooms. There’s a 1/2 bath on the main floor and one full bath (no bathtub) on the lower floor. There is no fan in the 1/2 bath, only a small window for ventilation. So, there is a main floor, a lower floor and a loft above the living room. The loft is the floor with a lot of beds. There are two separate bedrooms on the lower floor. Yes, the walk down from the driveway is somewhat steep and could use some gravel over the dirt. I shudder to think of what the path will be like in the rain. There is some rebar sticking out of the soil and large roots. There is no hand rail. The back deck chairs have some screws sticking out that should be screwed down into the wood. The fireplace was lovely, the kitchen was great but could use some deeper eating bowls not the shallow small Corelleware bowls they have. The house key is located in a small lockbox on the front entrance post. There are no views of Tomales Bay. But, we had a great time overall! It’s spacious and comfortable with lots of games, reading material, a great TV with many channels, great internet, excellent quiet location very near Point Reyes NS and also very close to the awesome Inverness Park Market!

Very nice house. Had a full house and everyone felt comfortable in the space. The kitchen was great. Check in was easy. I would stay again.

Absolutely stunning place - perfect for the weekend!

My family of 4 had a lovely and peaceful stay! Close to point Reyes hiking where we spent the day hiking to Limantour beach. Highly recommended!
